(B358) Mr Richard Shanley at E J Shanleys the scrap merchants on Shails Lane.
Claire Shanley writes (1/7/2019) to say
With reference to your picture of Mr Shanley in week 27 that’s a picture of Richard Shanley the youngest son of E J Shanley , who left the company a good few years ago and is not the Mr Terry Shanley who started the business (with his father Edward ) and still currently runs it . It is however a picture of the “time”
Terry is the instigator of breathing new life & preserving many of Trowbridge’s buildings.
Just thought perhaps you would like to know the person behind the business.
[Thank you Claire Ed]
