My mum was crossing patrol lady for parochial school in the 70s and this picture is of the Down / Canal road junction. [Robert J Doel]

(A200) Ron Mould the doorkeeper at the Magistrates’ Court, in the Town Hall building.  He would guide people coming to court which room to go to.  Trowbridge Town Council had use of Court Room 1.

A206  This is Mr Wilkins in his shop ‘The Dinkie’ Wicker Hill. A wonderful old fashioned sweet shop & popular with many people left [Stephen Lovering]

Hi Julie, I have really enjoyed looking through the photos from 1984.
The man in the photo A212 is my dad, Peter Matharu.  The photo was taken in his shop. Thank you so much, I loved seeing this photo of my Dad, when he would have been about 34.  Best wishes [Jaz Charter (Mrs)]

This lady is Ann- Marie Hunt married to Nigel hunt, Receptionist lady at Alpha cabs, Castle St [From: tapplj62]

 Hi,  I think it was on Week 6, you have a photo of a lady on the reception for Alpha taxis, the lady is Anne-Marie Hunt. She used to live over the road from us and was very friendly with our family.  Hope this helps. [From Angela Owens.]
