The chap in photo E216 on week 49 is Clive Brown, he owned and ran the toy shop, he’s now retired and his son now runs it.

(E218) Castle Street with Bob Missen Toy shop on the right, plenty of  car parking out the front.

 

(E219) In Knees department store, ground floor dressed for Christmas.

 

(E220) In Trowbridge Park on a Monday morning in December.

 

(E221) Children’s play area Trowbridge Park. One solitary roundabout. There used to be a slide that stood 15ft high, but the Council took it down, not safe for the young children of today.

(E223) Hilperton Rd by the Fire Station, early evening.

 

(E225) Hilperton Road. The big property on the right backs onto Bellefield Crescent.

(E230) You can just make out the  terrace of houses in Bythesea Road opposite County Hall, that were pulled down to make room for a car park.
