TROWBRIDGE 1984 WEEK 47 – NOVEMBER 19th to 25th

Some more scenes and people of Trowbridge.

(E176) Top of Castle St with the new two story block of shops and offices built on the corner where the  Victoria Institute used to be.

(E181) I was standing outside the Town Hall with my camera and a young mum with a toddler paused to look.  She posed for a quick photo and I wonder who they are.

(E186) Reg Smith and  Ford sports shop. Just the place to buy a tennis racket in the summer.

Steve Lovering writes – E187  This is Mrs Couldrake.  I first saw this woman serving food in Castle Court Cafe, Castle Street. I distinctly remember the Cigarette !  The building is now a nightclub.

 

(E188) Trowbridge Book  Shop, just the place for OS maps and books on Wiltshire.
