Some local buildings
(C196) Lattice woodwork over a house in the The Halve
(C187) Lloyds Bank having a facelift
(C190) Kwik Save supermarket. Entry from the car park at the side of the Midland Bank in Fore St.
(C191) Man cleaning the glass door at the entrance to Woolworths.
(C194) A local man called Desmond pausing for thought on Wicker Hill.
(195) United Reformed Church on Church St.
(C198) Ambulance driver trimming the flowers at the ambulance station on the Hilperton Rd.
(C209) Yerbury St.
(C210) Cousins and Wright premises on the corner of Duke St and the Halve. A listed building that serves no useful purpose other than to remind us not to build huge, draughty, uncomfortable, ungainly, high maintenance dwellings ever again.
(C212) Access to Ushers Brewery from Timbrell St.
(C211) And finally, an Ushers lorry driver gives a wave as he heads off to the local pubs with lot of barrels of fresh beer. Aluminium ones anyway.
