I bought this car from a student Mike Waterman at Porthcurno college, for £15. I had to send away to Exchange and Mart for a spline for one of the wheels.
We had a rally at college and on the night before the wiring caught fire. Nigel Murdoch spent the evening rewiring the car so it would be ready. Not sure how we did but the car was great fun. It had a throttle button, to control the petrol air mix on cold mornings, and on the steering wheel was a lever to adjust the tick-over.
I also inherited his girl friend Penny Foot, and she was great fun too.
In the end of the course I went abroad gave the car to my father.
